Fun fact No. 4: At the beginning of our Yoga and Sailing Retreat, our yacht will first dock at a small but breathtaking island: Unije. This gem of the Adriatic sea is the home of around 100 inhabitants and offers a gorgeous view from its great cliffs (“Vele Stijene”). Moreover, it is great for people who are fans of hiking, especially as there are no cars on this island! Unije will truly provide you with an authentic experience of Croatian island life.
Fun fact No. 5: During our Yoga and Sailing Retreat our crew will do its best to ensure that you discover the most remote islands that Croatia has to offer. One of them is the island of Susak. This island is not known to many tourists, which makes it even more special. While most of Croatia’s beaches consist of cobbles, Susak offers sandy beaches as far as the eye can see. Are you ready?
Fun fact No. 6: As you may have already noticed, all of the islands that we will be visiting in the course of our Yoga and Sailing Retreat boast beautiful beaches, amazing food and encounters with the wild. But one of our many stops on this unforgettable journey will be the island of Ilovik and its islet Sv. Petar – every history fan’s dream come true! While on Ilovik you will find many Roman artefacts, on Sv. Petar you can visit its cemetery from the 11th century as well as its Benedictine abbey which used to be a Byzantine fort. Let’s explore together!
