Shakti Yoga: 30 November – 2 December 2018

Shakti Yoga: 30 November - 2 December 2018

Shakti
Mahashakti is the ultimate power inherent in all of Creation. Shakti is ancient energy, She is the female face of the divine, She is a dancer who dances through the Universe, in a rave and wake singing ‘Wake Up’, ‘Wake Up’. Shakti inspires women to awaken and turn on their light. In ancient Indian language the name for the Goddess is Devi, which means ‘to shine’. So, Devi, Shakti, the Goddess, is the one who is Light. She is the one who radiates, She is the shining one. Shakti’s sacred intention is for every woman to feel and believe in her highest vision of herself. For every woman to start radiating her inner light and allow her heart to open wide with brightness and courage. The Goddess Shakti personifies the feminine aspect of all of creation. With all her diverse manifestations she is the supreme divine energy which empowers, creates and moves. Shakti takes form as the biological processes in our body. She acts through our thoughts and the play of our emotions. She becomes every atom and dust mote in the physical world. We are in our essence made of Shakti. Although Shakti represents feminine energy and Shiva represents male energy, they both reside in each individual. A dynamic harmonic unity of the Female-Male Principle is the ultimate goal of Shakti Yoga.

Shakti Yoga – The Course
The course is intended for women at all stages of life, from menarche to menopause and after. The presented techniques are normally not taught in mixed groups. They are specifically focused on the female health and well-being. With lots of creativity, laughter and fun, we will stimulate the spirit of self-discovery. With the use of standard asanas, pranayamas, kriyas and shaktibandas we will try to awaken all suppressed female qualities in ourselves. Shakti Yoga is an excellent tool for all women whose goals are health of the body, peace of mind, love in the heart, joy in the soul, abundance in everyday life and harmony among all aspects of life.
Come to this session, hear about the gifts of Shakti and her sacred empowerment principles and be also a shining one. 🙂
